The inaugural issue of the NoCo Journal of Short Stories will be published the winter of 2026-27.  No submission fee!

 

We want to help writers of short stories get published, too!

Submissions are accepted year-round, but our cycles begin in August and February.  Once we have enough qualifying short stories to fill up to a 6x9" 300-page volume, any submissions after that are considered for the next journal.  No previously published stories, or artwork or photographs, please.

Please email your short story to info@NoCoPress.com.  No need for a cover letter, but do include a short author bio with your connection to Colorado or Wyoming and a statement that your work is entirely human-original.​  We do not tolerate the use of A.I.-assisted or computer-generated writing.

The journal will be available in January 2027 for $10.
