The inaugural issue of the NoCo Journal of Short Stories will be published in Winter/January 2027.  No submission fee!

We want to help writers of short stories get published, too!

Submissions are accepted in September and October;  any submissions after that are considered for the summer journal.  No previously published stories, or artwork, please.  Stories of all lengths considered, depending on the quality of the piece.

Please email your short story to info@NoCoPress.com.  No need for a cover letter, but do include a short author bio with your connection to Colorado or Wyoming and a statement that your work is entirely human-original.  We do not tolerate the use of A.I.-assisted or computer-generated writing.

The journal will be available in 2027 for $10.
